Buffalo 4 Ranch offers great photographic trips for a myriad of birds, heavy horned Whitetail Deer, Exotics, Feral Hogs & other wildlife in their natural settings. Our modern elevated blinds enable 360 degree viewing & have plenty rooms for photographers to set up tripods and operate several still & video cameras at the same time. It is not unusual for photographers to get sub 50-yard shots of huge horned Whitetail & Axis Deer, as well as rare Transcaspian Urial Sheep & Blackbuck Antelope. Have you ever dreamed about getting great shots of big whitetail bucks jumping fences, or bucks fighting? If so, Buffalo 4 Ranch is the place to make these dreams come true! Our guides are well versed in Photography &, if you wish, will be happy to give you pointers and critique your pictures, giving you helpful tips on improving your photographic skills. When the Texas weather gets hot from June thru August, the animals are active very early in the morning and late in the afternoon, limiting photographic opportunities, September thru April are the best times of the years to see good numbers of animals. The racks of our huge Whitetail bucks, many scoring over 200 B&C, are fully developed by mid-August, will begin rubbing the velvet off their horns in September and most will be in hard antler in October. It is not unusual to see bachelor herds of big bucks in August & September, with these groups beginning to disperse & chase does in October. Bucks will begin sparing as soon as they have rubbed out from velvet and really begin to “not like each other” by mid-October. Contact us for available dates for a photography trip you will talk about forever.
